This hat is very soft, and has a mesh liner. It was comfortable on my seven year old daughter, however I ordered it for myself. It has a very tight fit, and slipped off my head when I move around, due to the smooth liner. I gave it 3 stars because it was not designed for an adult head. We were traveling to the snow, and I ended up wearing my daughter’s Gymboree “childrens” knit hat which fit perfectly.
based on other reviewer comments, hat was purchased for 6 year old to use during fall sports. fits her great and she really likes it. with the liner on the inside, hat has a soft feel.
