I own these leggings in Lapis, Black, Brown, Navy and Cranberry. They are just thick enough to wear them alone or under a dress/skirt. They are a tiny bit long for me (I am 5″, 100 lbs and buy the xsmall), so they scrunch up a tiny bit at the ankles, which doesn’t bother me or look bad. Overall, the fit is great and the color selection is awesome. These leggings are a great investment! Great leggings for a great price. Long enough for my long legs and size is accurate. Would definitely purchase again.I live in these leggings all winter! They fit perfectly and are a great price for quality American Apparel. I’m 5’4″ and 140 pounds and the small is a perfect fit.The actual arrival date was over a week earlier than the expected arrival date 
I was so pleased that they shipped so quickly. When they arrived they were better than I had ever expected, having not bought AA tights before. For me, personally, the waist fits great for the size, the length will be perfect for keeping my legs warm on winter dog walks, the color is super cute (eggplant), but might be a little loose for lanky girls. It’s better for someone like me who isn’t super slender (maybe slim girls should be advised to order a size smaller?). I won’t wear them beyond exercise/walks but, they would still be cute for going out/dressing up.I got these leggings in “asphalt” and the color is a good one, a quite dark grey that goes with a lot of stuff. I’m a quite thin and short lady so the fit on the XS size was perfect. I’m a little annoyed that the leggings are not so durable as I had hoped – after a couple of months now, there is some bunching around the knees. I wish the fabric was a bit thicker and had a higher spandex content or something to really hold on tight to my legs.I ordered a medium 10 days ago, and got them this morning. I took them straight home and tried them on…and they were absolutely perfect! I’m only 5’3″ but the came to the ankle without bunching and didn’t go too high, they sat just under my belly button. They’re comfortable, and don’t leave lines underneath other clothing. I love ‘em!
