I bought this when my little guy was 6 months old, but finally had a chance to use it last weekend. He’s now 9 months and seems perfectly secure – and undeniably very comfortable – in it. He’s been using it every day since and we love it! We can splash around a bit with our older child, while he feels like part of the fun, but has his own space and doesn’t need to be held. My only worry is that he’ll fall asleep in it (he often seems so chill in it, it appears he’s about to doze off – and he’s not the dozing off type) and then maybe flop forward. Not too big of a concern – obviously we closely watch him while he’s in it. But we’re amazed at how relaxed he is in it. And it looks like it will fit for a while. Not up to age 5 though, which is the age of our older child who thinks it’s so cool she wants to be in it.
Seems well made and is quick to inflate – although blowing into it was a little trickly.This will be our second year with this float and we are thrilled with it!! We even take it with us when we fly to visit family in other states, because we don’t want to be stuck using those plastic floats that aren’t stable. This company has perfected the float for us!!!! LOVE IT!!!! 
My daughter was only 7 months when we purchased this canopy so that she might float in our pool. We had to position a towel behind her to fill the gap and keep her sitting forward. But it did serve its purpose and I have plenty of pictures of her laughing and kicking in it. She is now 16 months and we won’t be able to use it this summer because she is 32″ tall and 26 lbs. We have another child due this fall and will use it again with him next summer.This float has allowed me and my mom to stay in the pool longer and keep my son entertained. We can push him back and forth between us and know that he is not getting too much sun. He loves to stack up toys on the ‘deck’ around the float and is learning to kick his legs to make the float go where he wants. We got this when he was 11 months old and he has really enjoyed it these past 2 months! I strongly recommend this float — that I have not seen in any store.I just got back from visiting parents in Florida and this float was perfect for our 10 month old. We took in the pool and the ocean. Less then 2 lbs and it comes with it’s own carry bag, super easy for travel. My favorite feature is the sun canopy. It’s removable and when you do have it on you have a choice of 3 positions. There’s no point to a canopy if you can’t move it to block the sun.We loved this baby float! We took this on a trip to Mexico with our 9 month old, we used it in the resort pool! We especially loved the canopy on top, it kept out some sun. Also, we bought squirt toys for the pool…lots of fun! This product was the safest baby float out there, (the plastic ones are really unsafe!) and we are happy with purchasing this float!!!
