This dress is extremely comfortable and trendy! And with this deal..it’s an entire outfit under $40! Also – to those who are worried, the top is not so sheer that you have to wear a tank top under it…its covered where it should be, it’s work appropriate and easily transformed into a great evening outfit! I’m from Texas, and I find this quite cute. The shoulders do not puff out on me, and I have broad shoulders for my body type. The length is very work appropriate, and I’m on the tall side! I would throw a blazer over it to look more polished for work, though.
It’s a bit clingly, but in a still classy way that is not going to confine me or make me walk funny, or worse.
The skirt material is soft, the top’s faux chiffon is somewhat scratchy, but looks pretty authentic (like silk) to me.
The belt was awful, it was all kinky and.. well it was a plastic belt what could I expect? But I suppose after hanging in the closet for awhile it will look fine. I think the dress wouldn’t look right without the belt.
Best of all, with a long waist I find it impossible to find shirts that stay tucked into my pants or skirt. I can’t even wear bodysuits because they really ride up in a bad way! This outfit solves that little problem, and I plan to have it in both color options. I don’t know what’s trendy in Maryland, but I’m returning this god awful ensemble. The skirt looks nothing like you would think it would. It looks like a halloween costume! I bought this to wear to work and I would get laughed out of the office in this tragic outfit. The sleeves are poofy and it’s like you’re stepping into a time machine to the 80s.
DO NOT blow $40 on this outfit only to spend $5 to ship it back. I can’t believe someone would actually give this nightmare a good review. C.Cox from Maryland is out of her EFFING mind.
