- Two-tone stainless steel case; black dial; date function

Take your diving adventures to the next level with the professional Citizen Promaster 1000 titanium men’s automatic watch, which offers water resistance to an astounding 1000 meters (3300 feet). This hefty silver-tone watch measures approximately 1.85 inches wide (without crown) and 0.7 inches deep, and it includes a 6mm scratch-resistant, non-reflective sapphire crystal. It also features a helium gas release, making it suitable for the most demanding, deep-water diving environments. The watch case is made from solid titanium, which is nearly 50 percent lighter than steel, but 30 percent stronger. It’s also particularly resistant to salt water corrosion, as well as hypo-allergenic–perfect for those with metal allergies.
The black dial features extra-large, luminous hands (with seconds hand) and dial markers for low-light visibility, as well as a date function at 3 o’clock. It also has a unidirectional rotating elapsed time bezel that can be detached for cleaning. It’s completed by a reinforced urethane rubber strap with extender strap included for dry suits and thick wet suits. This watch’s automatic self-winding movement winds from the motion of your wrist and requires no battery.

A beautiful watch Citizen titanium diver,
I received this watch through Amazon and received outstanding service. There is an additional strap extension included for folks that have very large wrists. I am very happy with this purchase.

|Beautiful watch, sad strap.,
I received this watch via UPS today. It is a ginormous, incredibly attractive watch. However, the band/strap is too small for my wrist…and my wrist is not unnaturally large. After an hour of test-wearing it around the house, I had to loosen it up one hole, which pegged me into the next-to-last hole on the band. Even at the third hole, the “keeper” would not secure the (short) excess threaded through the buckle, causing the buckle to protrude and potentially catch on stuff. The principle problem is that the strap is proprietary to just this model/maker of watches, so a ready-made solution is not available. I called Citizen Watch company and they confirmed that there are no other Citizen bands that fit this model.
That said, after poking around the intartoobs, I did find that there are a couple of after-market solutions. Two sources provide adapters that allow Zulu- or NATO-type straps and both sources make pin-type adapters. Either “fix” will cost between $30 and $80 (or more), which is reasonable, I suppose. However, I’d like a stock, warrantied solution. Tomorrow, I will contact Amazon to return this watch, but I still rate it 5 stars because it is a nice watch for people with the wrists of an 8-year old.
