DaVinci Tool Soft Reviews
I work on a computer 12 hours a day and my upper back/shoulders/neck become sore and painful. Pressure point therapy works well for my problem so I thought the DaVinci tool looked promising. This little block of rubber had really good potential. It worked well on my neck but as soon as I put it under my shoulder, it collasped like a wet cracker box.
I can’t say it’s good or not-so-good, but for my use, I found it didn’t meet my expectations. First, the rubber wedge was the same density all around. I think it would be more effective if one of the sides was constructed of a harder material. I found when I tried to tuck it behind my back, the wedge either rolled or collasped. Either way I wasn’t getting the point pressure I needed.
I really can’t recommend this as you can get the same results from a mini-tennis ball or similar small toy. It does help relieve the pressure in the neck but to work down and through the rest of the back, this tool lacks. Perhaps if they go to a harder rubber I’d buy it again but this one is for the dogs. In fact, I stuff a little peanut butter in the groves and the boyz are very happy with their new toy.
May not look like much – but looks can be deceiving – this thing is wonderful! Over the last twenty years I’ve purchased many devices in the $20-$60 range to work on my back (between massages and spinal adjustments). The Davinci Tool has the most versatility. It allows me to stretch muscles and release tension in all areas of my back like no other gizmo I’ve ever tried. Various times I’ve had issues with my neck or around my shoulder blades, mid-back or lower back; I can maneuver the DaVinci Tool edge/angle/point to just the right spot. It’s well worth the price. My massage therapist daughter thinks it’s a cool tool too!
