I saw the ionic pattern in a store and really liked it, but was very nervous about purchasing this stroller online because I had never seen it. While I do agree that it may not be the MOST lightweight stroller out there, I can still load and unload it in my trunk with one hand…that’s good enough for me! Our little boy is now 19 months old and this stroller is the only one we have used since he was born.
I only have two VERY minor complaints with the stroller. One is that you have to unhook the shoulder harness for the child to be able to sit up completely, which is really not a problem because they are still securely in the stroller with the lap straps. The second is that there is no tray on the front. Again, there are several places you can purchase trays to strap onto the front bar, so it was not a big problem either.
While the travel systems have worked for several friends in early days, most of them are now buying umbrella strollers for practical, everyday use with an older child. We don’t have a need for one because this stroller is only a little larger than a typical umbrella stroller.
For us, it has been the perfect stroller. I was a little nervous about purchasing it at first, but a year and a half later, I’m still thankful I got over that every time we use it…especially when I see friends lugging their large strollers out of their trunks with no room for anything else!****The Graco Mosaic Stroller in Ionic, is really a great stroller! I am 6′ tall and my husband 6’4″ and the handles are the perfect height for us. My mom who is 5’4″ loved the position of the handles too, very comfortable! I also just flew for the first time with my 8 week old daughter and we brought the stroller, it was perfect. Light weight, folds up neatly, and you can collapse it with one hand (other hand holding the baby!) It was easy to put together when it arrived (5 minutes and done). The color is great too, I have the matching car seat and it fits in nicely onto the stroller (its very secure). I recommend this stroller to anyone who is searching for one. I researched a lot of strollers and carseats and found this set to be wonderful!!! ****I absolutely love this stroller. We bought the travel system with the Graco Snug ride carseat for our first daughter. It is not bulky at all, especially compared to the other travel systems. I love the cupholder on the side. The basket has plenty of room for our stuff and the handles are very comfortable. We have used our stroller so much that we have worn down the tires in the three years we had it. When I went to buy replacement wheels I saw that this stroller was on sale so we just got a whole brand new one for our second child due in March. There has been an update on the back handle to close the stroller, which I like. I recommend this stroller to someone that wants a slimmer stroller.
