As a collector of Barbie’s, I truly think this is an elegant doll. The silver dress has a holiday feel and she is truly beautiful. Any Barbie collector would definitely enjoy displaying this doll.I this she is one of the most beautiful dolls I’ve ever owned! I love her dress and her makeup is really something! I really don’t have much to say since I’m not a doll kind of guy, but my mom has collected Barbies almost since I was born (she played with them long before that, however) and she’s always gaga over the new Holiday ones.
If you’ve got a mom who collects Barbies, you should get her one.She’s beautiful – all of the Holiday Barbies are – but I don’t consider her a toy, so I gave her low rankings because the question specifically said “toy”. Sure not the Barbies I grew up with! What a beautiful doll!!! This was my baby girl’s first Barbie, and Amazon had it for half of the price of the stores!!! Great deal! What a great start to a collection. Mattel does a great job on their collectable Holiday Barbies, this one is no exception.I purchased this Holiday Barbie doll for my fiance, who has been collecting them for years now as a tradition that was started by her late grandmother. I wanted to help keep up the tradition so this past Christmas (08)I got her this one. She’s happy and that’s all that matters to me.Bought this for a relative who is really picky about her Barbie’s (she is 40) and she has been collecting since her very first one when she was a child. She was thrilled and noted that this Barbie had better (more realistic) proportions. Loved the dress and the face. I was very pleased to have found her another one she loved, and the price was good . SO was not having to fight others in the store near Christmas time to get it:-)

I’ve been doing this since she was very young. She is now 24 years old and looks forward to getting her “Barbie”. She commented on how beautiful this years Barbie was stunning. She keeps them boxed up. It’s more like a collectors item than anything else.
