My wife has wanted some straight leg Levi’s for a long time,to quote her: “Best pair of jeans I have had in a long time – nothing fits like a pair of Levi’s – and it is so great not to have “boot cut” Levi’s!When I was a young sprout, Levi’s were only made for the anorexic boy-figure girls with no waist and stick legs. Now, I can wear them. It’s so awesome to find jeans that a) don’t have ’70s flares (sorry, ‘boot cut’=flare), and b) do have a waist that lands between my nipples and pubic bone. ~ But what *irks* me about these jeans is that the front pockets are for muppets! What is it with women’s pants? Am I the only female in America who puts her hands in her pockets? I can’t even fit my fingers into these … and I am average height, average build, average everything. Levi’s, are you listening? Don’t scrimp on the pocket lining. I would not recommend you buy these “Levi’s” if you expect them to be like all the other pairs in your closet. Levi’s are the best brand to buy if you like the thick, pure denim material. The ones I purchased from Amazon were very thin and soft like the cheap, fake jeans you would expect to buy in a discount store. I’m not sure they really are Levi’s.These are by far my fave jeans. Levis 505 straight legs fit perfectly and move with me which makes them extra comfortable. I was very happy to find them on Amazon at a good price because in the stores they can get a little expensive when they are not on sale. They arrived at my door in perfect condition and right when promised.The jeans are great. They fit good and move when you move. I will be buying more of these in the coming months.When I ordered these jeans, I was skeptical whether they were going to fit my body type (pair shape) but I must say, Levi’s are the best jeans I have ever purchased that really compliment my body. As well as the 545 I purchased them because of a prior pair which I purchased many years ago. The jeans were everything I expected them to be. Great fitting and very comfortable. I have been receiving many compliments as to the make of the jeans. Levi’s 545 and the 505 wow!!! they are really great fitting and comfortable, you rock Levi’s!!! Thanks..One star knocked off because the button holes were too small, so I had to cut them open and resew them. Also, even though exact same size/model/color as previous purchase (made in Egypt), these (made in Mexico) are not exactly the same fit (waist is larger and lower) or color… quality control issues.
