i bought this perfume for my girl friend and i must say it has a beautiful sweet somewhat floral/flower type of scent to it but it smells soo good…and unlike some perfumes and colognes this one is strong enough to last days..it has a strong scent but its a tolerable one and its pleasing. you dont need to squirt more than one spray or two..its cheap compared to some and you definitely can’t beat the amazon.com price..plus the bottle is pretty cool to along with the nice display box. it has mariah careys little signature creature butterfly and it makes a great gift for your significant other.I ordered this for my daughter in law’s birthday, it was the right price, and delievered on time, and she loved it! This product was refered to me by my friends and co-workers. They rated it #1 and I agree. It was a perfect fit for me. Everyone should try itI love this parfum. Its girly and sweet – but not too strong.
Perfect to wear daily.I generally like flowery scents, so when I read the product description, I thought I might like this perfume. It was offered as the goldbox deal, so I surrendered to temptation. I must say that this is more of a spicy scent than a flowery scent. The fragrance notes reads: Tahitian Tiare, Gardenia, Amber, Marshmallow, “Sea Breeze” accord, Patchouli, Moroccan incense. I must say that I smell more of amber and Moroccan incense than anything else. Don’t get me wrong, it is still a nice scent. If I were to choose a reference to define the scent, I would say that it reminds of bath & body works’ rather spicier scents like sensual amber.
I find the bottle and the overall representation a little bit childish, but it’s just me! Mariah has out done herself again choosing this perfume! I put this perfume up there with Lolita Lemerick, Hermes Un Jardin. 5 Stars lasting too! Would buy again!!! I also found a calming effect from wearing this perfume too! I’m a big Mariah Carey fan, always have been. I’m not gonna lie, I was gonna buy this just because it was hers but, initially, it wasn’t going to be my first choice. I went to Macy’s because I was actually gonna buy Kimora Lee Simmons Baby Phat Perfum as an early Mother’s Day gift to myself. I sprayed it on, smelled it and was about to ask to purchase the Mother’s day set (which they had plenty of) when I was like “hold on, where’s Mariah Carey’s perfum?” The lady walked me over to it and there were only a few bottles left and no Mother’s Day sets. There was a good reason for this. I asked her if I could try it out. WOW! OMG it smelled SOOOO GOOD! It’s gotta sweet smell that lasts for a LONG time (I tried it on right before I went to work, around 10 am and I could still smell it when I was getting ready for bed! Baby Phat wore off about 4 hours into use while Mariah’s was still goin strong!) I smelled Baby Phat on my left hand, Mariah’s on my right.. left, right. Lol I told her I’d come back after I made up my mind (I’ve already got tons of perfum, I don’t really need more.) I work around mostly men so I decided to do a test so I’ll know which one to get. I asked 10 people, 1 woman 9 guys. 7 people said Mariah Carey, 2 said Baby Phat and 1 liked both. I decided to get Mariah Carey’s Limited Edition Gold AND the Eau De. I hope the gold smells as good as the regular! I had to order it online because it’s sold out! I’m keeping my fingers crossed!
I just found out, also, this fragrance was nominated for a FiFi Perfum award.
