I ordered these shoes around the holidays. These are really nice shoes, but they fit a little small. I ordered an 8 and probably could have ordered an 8.5. I normally wear size 8 and sometimes 7.5. I probably could wear them, but If I had to do a lot of walking I could see my feet hurting. They look black to me, I’m not sure what everyone else is talking about? The gold color is like a gold foil material. That sounds weird, but they are beautiful shoes – I say order them! I have friends that wear size 8 so maybe I can sell them. They are a really good deal for Naughty Monkey shoes.I too thought this was a black and silver shoe. I would have preferred it to be black but the brown is nice. The only reason I opted for this on was because the red and black ones weren’t available. Overall though they are fun to wear and add pizazz to any outfit.I read the other reviews and bought the shoes in gold, thinking gold and brown would work well, but maybe this is only a problem with the silver shoes, because my gold ones have black patent.
the 10 runs true to size. it’s really comfortable, and doesn’t turn up on the ends like it seems to in the picture. a must have for any woman’s wordrobe.I am actually surprised nobody had sizing problems but me. I wear an 8.5 or 9 depending on the make of the shoe. In Naughty Monkey shoes I wear a 9 but this shoe was sooo tight on my foot. I am going to return it for a 9.5. But other than that I was happy with the shoes and they are comfortable… even when they were squeezing my toes. =)The shoe looks absolutely adorable, however do not be fooled with the color! I bought these shoes in silver and “black” but it turned out to be really chocolate brown. I was willing to deal with it until I put them on….OUCH! I have a pretty narrow foot and have always been a true size 8, but I could barely get my foot into them! Scrunched my toes up severely. I LOVE Naughty Monkey and Amazon, but these shoes just did NOT work! Will be returning…
