ordered this ring last thursday, received in good time. It is not what I expected – the stone has no resemblance of a garnet – not red at all, instead like a taupe kinda yellow mixture. It is pretty, but not what was advertised. I’m thinking of returning, but I might just keep it – haven’t decided yet. I don’t know where the diamonds are on the ring, they probably aren’t even diamonds.
I’m pleased with it, although, have to agree, that the metal is a bit duller than pictured. Forget about the diamonds, you can hardly see them (there are two tiny little specks). Overall, it looks great, a nice and wide, dressy garnet ring, with good craftsmanship. On the inside, it says ‘Made in China.’ Would recommend it for the price.
I bought this ring a few months ago actually, but I wanted to write a review anyways. I bought this ring for my mother in law, whom is going througha heart vreaking divorce from my father in law, whom cheated on her. I bought this gift to cheer her up, and she loved it! Its so very beautiful in every way! It didnt get her over her heart break, but it made her smile!
after looking all over i really wanted a gemstone ring that was different and that had my birthstone.. luckily i found this ring.. i love it.. people say its not as shiny as it looks but i disagree… it looks so pretty and i get SO many compliments for it.. i bought it over a month ago and I am still getting compliments!
The ring looks just as in the photo. The garnets are a brownish red. The silver is very bright I have had lots of compliments on it. The diamonds are imperceptable with the naked eye , but I did not buy it for that . I am glad I ordered a size 8: normally I wear a 7 in a thinner band, but I have short stubby fingers. This ring is wide , so I needed the extra space. The only thing I don’t care for is that the ring feels sharp on the sides where it rubs the adjacent fingers.
