This was a gift to me from a special friend who also happens to have a quirky sense of humor. As bobble heads go,this would rank right up there with the best of them, so I am very pleased with my new bobble head gift! Wouldn’t trade it for anything. In fact, I am convinced that if everybody would send at least one bobble head like this to a friend of theirs, the world would be a much better place! Don’t hesitate to get one, it’ll lift your spirits as it has mine!!! This is a wonderful keepsake gift. Thank you, BOB ! I was looking for some Obama collectibles after this historic election. I have a few bobble head dolls of historical figures and I thought this one would be a nice addition. I wasn’t disappointed. It is a fun collectible. Maybe the doll doesn’t look as much like Obama as it should but it is passable. It is fun and done in good taste with a bio of Obama on the back. I plan to keep mine in the box as a collectible but it would be fun to display. I wouldn’t call this a toy. It’s more of a collectible to me. It is fun and not pricey, and I am glad to add it to my collection Toy was a little bigger but this is a good thing shipped fast thank you. This is nice and durable. Wanted one for my son for later in his life for history. Just what I was looking for. I bought 3 and glad to have them.I think we have found the source of Pres. Obama’s economic recovery plan! He asks the wobbler and the wobbler says, “Great Idea!”. Things are really going well, we all have to agree.
The CEO of my husband’s company spoke with Pres. Obama (actually, yes, he did) to remind the President that telling folks to not travel isn’t such a great idea for the travel and tourism industry. Hm. I wouldn’t think a president of his intellectual caliber would need that type of reminder. Guess I was wrong. Unless Pres. Obama really isn’t interested in ‘stimulating the economy’ so much as ‘growing government size and power’.After the election, I started looking for Obama memorabilia to put up in my office of my overwhelmingly conservative workplace. This is perfect. I put it on my bookshelf facing the door. His little wave seems to convey: “Ha, ha… it’s our turn now!” In terms of likeness… don’t expect an exact replica. I imagine it would be really difficult to get a mold to exactly resemble the real person. It’s good enough.
I really recommend it.
