We purchased these cots for our camping trip. We were tried of sleeping on a queen air mattress that would deflate by the next morning. I purchased them and Amazon shipped them quickly. To them camping, assembled them quickly without reading the instruction manual, and had the best night sleeping. They were comfortable and long enough that our toes were not falling off the end. Great cots….I would recommend to everyone.
This bed is quite nice, the architecture is simple and easy to move around, the problem is the quality, my bed came with 2 little holes close to the middle, which will shorten the life of the bed after a very few uses, also one of the lower black plastic pieces is broke in a half, which makes it very unstable and annoying to sleep on it, i have to be placing some bulk on that side so the bed doesn’t move. in general its a good item, pretty cheap too, but the quality is low.
I ordered this cot and a much more expensive Slumberjack at the same time. This one was for the kids while the “better” one was suppossed to be for me. I wound up returning the more expensive cot and getting a second Rio Adventure.
The only downside to this cot is that it is somehwat heavy. I would not want to carry it for a long distance. That being said, it is still considerably lighter than the Slumberjack.
This is not an oversized cot like the Slumberjack but it comfortable fits my 6′+ frame. More important, it is relatively easy to assemble and is very sturdy once put together. For the money, you can not go wrong buying one of these.
