the suitcases were well packaged and sent on time. Little bit smaller than I have thought before, but with the price I paid this was a good deal 
I just sent my daughter off to Europe with her BRAND NEW Samsonite suitcase WRAPPED IN DUCT TAPE!!! The case had NEVER been used. She was thrilled to get it as a graduation present, but this morning she was in tears as the zipper literally unravelled. We had to be at the airport too early for stores to be open to buy a replacement. Now she will spend the next 3 months duct taping her beautiful new luggage closed everywhere. I purchased Samsonite for the quality. I will never make that mistake again.
I had originally rated this product 5 stars because it seemed like a good deal. Amazon won’t let me change that – but I have changed the review. I WILL NEVER BUY SAMSONITE AGAIN! Zero stars!These are great pieces of luggage. Typical Samsonite quality. I own other Samsonite luggage that has lasted a long time. It’s still in great condition but I needed luggage with wheels. This is very nice looking in the red. The bag sizes are great. I read some reviews complaining about the sizes but they are, in fact, the dimensions that are indicated so I am not sure what other people were expecting. They are really nice pieces of luggage.I’m pleased with this luggage set. It’s well constructed and represents good value for the price. I’ve taken two trips, and it is holding up well. The quality is a good one backed by the Samsonite name, however the two large pieces were not as large as expected. I was happy with the set. I think that it was a good value for the price. I bought red thinking that it would stand out at the baggage claim. Apparently, about 20 other people had the same idea. The soil from the flight shows fairly easily on the read. The luggage rolled easily and carried enough for me and my son for a week. Arrived on time, looks sharp, holds up pretty well against airport handling. Lots of nice compartments for storage, and easy to spot at the baggage claim. I would recommend this luggage.My luggage arrived today. I was a little nervous ordering luggage on-line based on a picture and description, without being able to check how the wheels move, how strong the zippers are, etc. but my old luggage was Samsonite so I figured it must be good.
I also had been pricing luggage in the stores and thought the price for this set was very good.
I bought the luggage in red, and it looks fantastic, although all the bags are slightly smaller than I thought they’d be. They are adequately sized for my use, but I took away 1/2 star for this reason. It rolls very smoothly and seems well constructed. I like how the pull-handles not only recess into the luggage, they have a zippered flap that cover and protect the recessed handles. At first I thought it did not come with luggage tags, but they are actually built into the side of the luggage (as opposed to hanging from the handles).
The tote bag looks very stylish and roomy, with lots of compartments, but again, it is slightly smaller than I expected. It also comes with a zippered toiletries bag, which I think is another name for a shaving kit. I didn’t think I would want or need this, but with the current airline restrictions, it will come in handy to pack liquid things, and of course a razor, that would normally be in my carry-on bag but are no longer allowed, and keep them separated from clothing (in case of leakage).
I can’t wait to use this luggage, which will be the true test of its strength and durability. 4.5 stars Badly in need of luggage for an upcoming vacation, I ordered this reasonably priced set through Amazon less than two weeks prior to my departure. I thought I was out of luck when the shipment arrived badly damaged (thanks to UPS) just a few days before my trip, but the great ebags customer support staff came to the rescue and overnighted a new set to me with free shipping and a hefty discount! The luggage arrived just in time and was the perfect size for my seven-day trip to Mexico with my boyfriend. We had ample room for all of our stuff and the red color made it easy to spot in the busy airport. We also got tons of complements on our luggage from friends and passersby. I would recommend this product and ebags to anyone interested in high-quality, reasonably priced merchandise that is shipped quickly!High quality 4 piece set. I really didn’t need the tote or the toiletry bag, but they are nice additions. I really like the frame access / zippered liner that doubles as a seperator for clean and dirty clothes while you are on your trip.
