We are cut small. Our XL is akin to a Medium at a BIG Box store. Proud curvy types order larger for more coverage. 36C & above order a size larger than normal, it will still be form fitting around your waist. Large hipped gals order a size larger. Petite types no need to order an XS unless 5 or less feet & trim, or need to turn every head in the house. The less micro mini you want it the larger you should buy it, it will not be baggy. For lighter colors we recommend light undies & ordering a size larger so the knit does not need to stretch as much providing more coverage. Write us before or just after ordering with your weight, height & approximate measurements so we can best advise or adjust your order. KD dance is a custom made to order shop in New York City. I got my bubble pink, lavender and cream dresses and they are just amazing! This dress is sure to turn heads and make other girls green with envy!
Color: The bubble pink is less harsh than I anticipated. Look at “Yoga Tart Outfit Matching Stretch Knit V Neck Top & Roll Waist Tights” in one of KD DANCE entries and you can see that the pink is a very subtle and pretty color. Lavender is very pretty dreamy color…like a pastel color. This color is soooooo pretty. Cream is an off-white color which is easy to match with whatever accesories you want to accentuate with.
Craftmanship: This is a very basic but ultimately, very efficiently- made piece of clothing. There are no collars or seams or frills. (The sleeves have a little frill which accents the wrist area)=>Very Cute!
The dress is made to accentuate and celebrate the beauty of the female body. Very simple but sexy. Less is more. If you got it, flaunt it. You get my drift.
Comfort: This is a very soft and comfortable acrylic knit dress. Very warm and non-irritating to the skin. Not itchy like the other man-made mystery fabrics. It feels like a soft layer of warmth with breathable texture. (You can always wear camisoles and leotards and stuff for extra warmth or extra coverage).
Fit: Very body-hugging and won’t slide down with movement. I like to wear these with net stockings or cute crochet patterned pantyhose from Leg Avenue for a more secure fit. (This further prevents the dress from riding up). You can also wear KD Dance’s booty short of thick pantyhose stockings for extra coverage because this dress is indeed a mini skirt.
Versatility: You can wear these over leggings, tights, stockings, panythose, skinny jeans, boot-cut jeans, and even skirts. I wore it to the office with my pencil skirt (sweater tucked in skirt) and covered the top with suit jacket for a conservative look. If you want to have a drink with friends, (and voila!) you are already in your sexy little mini dress for a killer apres work look.
You can wear these with heels, boots, sandals, and whatever the mood or weather fits. Accent this dress with scarves, baubles, blingy things, thigh high boots/stockings, fur, and whatever excites you!
