Swiss Army 241313,
I just purchased this watch as an upgrade to my typical Timex-type watches. I was frustrated by having to buy a new watch every couple of years. Also, I wanted a better class of watch because I was tired of the case getting beat up and the “stainless steel” plating wearing off. The underlying base metal was turning my wrist green! I bought this watch because I liked its simple design and it’s nice “beefy” look. I like that it has Arabic numerals all the way around the face. I don’t like when a watch only has a few numerals or worse, just tick marks. They are fine for dress watches, but for everyday use I want numbers on the face. The case on this watch is a little larger than I am used to, but does not look comically large on my smaller-sized wrists. I have had the watch for a little over a week and it has only gained one second since I set it as verified by my atomic clock. The bracelet is nice looking and complements the simple design of the face. When charged by sunlight the hands and numbers glow very brightly in the dark. The watch is very comfortable to wear. It is a heavy watch, but not in an bad way. More solid, than heavy. Overall I am pleased with the design and workmanship of this watch and hope that I get many years service out of it.
