Nice Looking Watch–Questionable Quality,
This watch looks and feels like a high quality timepiece. It has a very solid feel to it and unique styling as well. Unfortunately, shortly after I received it, I noticed the chronograph hands did not return to the “zero” position, even after pressing the correct button. There were no instructions as to how this problem should be corrected. It was a concern to me that a new watch would arrive in this condition and I returned it within a few days. It may not be the most expensive watch in the world, but it is also not a cheap one either; and I expected more in this price range.

|Solid Watch,
This Victorinox is a good mid-range watch. I have recently started even wearing it in the machine shop, where it has not received a single scratch on the face. The chronograph movement buttons have a satisfying mechanical click when actuated, so you know exactly when you’ve started/stopped. The watch is solid and a little heavy, but it sits well on my thin (male) wrists. Quality of hands is good, with no excess flashing. Easy to read. Packaging is a large leather-esqe box that is enjoyable to open. Comes with thick manual. Only down side is that fluorescent paint doesn’t stay lit for too long.
Be aware that many of the vendors on Amazon sell this watch as unauthorized distributors. This means that though the watch may be authentic, Swiss Army will not give the 3-year warranty (giving you a substantial discount…).

|Solid, good looking watch.,
The watch is better than I expected it to be. The face is slightly off-black with a very subtle brown/army-green tone and the black leather band has also a hint of brown in it, giving it a quite unique and understated color combination.
The overall build feels very solid and the buttons are very precise. The main dial and its three sub-dials are easy to read and I also like the telemeter marks which helps you calculate the distance of a far away event based on the difference between sound and light.
