This Barbie is totally Cute! I love how Matel has updated the outfit from the original Barbie Outfit and made the bathing suit a two piece instead of the one piece. Barbie has the cute sunglasses and cell phone. Attached to her ankle is the 50th anniversary tag that shows she is the special 5oth b-day Barbie! Great Job and all at the special price!!Adorable and wonderful doll! I can’t really speak to the durability since I didn’t open the package, but the face and outfit are really cute. I hope Barbie sticks with this face and body shape – much more natural.I love this Barbie. She is totally cute and retro all in one. I got her during the 50th anniversary week at the special anniversary price. A great addition to my growing collection.A doll thats good for your doll collection. She’ll be coming to the beach with us this summer.The packaging is nice, Barbie is pretty, the whole presentation is good. I bought it because it is the 50 year release and Barbie and I are both 50. I managed to get it the first week at the 50 year price of $3.00 however I would like to have a couple more for my neices but don’t mind paying a fair price for them later. It is a cute remake of an older doll and I still think Barbie is a great girl gift. I played with mine forever.all that appealing! I like the updated bathing suit that reminds us of the old one in color but I did not like the sparkles they added to the material. I think it makes it look cheap. A nice souvenir of the fiftieth anniversary but not much more than that. And watch out for the scalpers! Can’t understand how Amazon advertised the $3 one for a week and ran out of her in one day!! I paid too much for mine. Other stores are offering it for much less and one had the decency to still sell their second delayed supply at the original price of $3. Talk about character and integrity. Too bad we can’t mention the name here. I was late in getting a 50th anniversary Barbie so I was delighted to find this seller on-line. I received my purchase much more quickly than I anticipated. Thank you!My grand daughters loved this. The only problems is the hair comes out when brushed by a 3 year old & the shoes are hard to put on and are easily lost. I think it probably should have been recommended for a older child.
